Magical Maldives

Hey Hey,

If you follow me on Instagram you’d know that I just turned a year older and celebrated my birthday in one of the most beautiful places, Maldives. The hotel we booked for our stay was Adaaran Prestige Ocean Villa but when we landed and were greeted by an employee of the hotel, she told us that we had been upgraded to their 5 star property (Adaaran Prestige Vadoo) because the one we booked was overbooked. When we heard her say that we were over the moon! My birthday couldn’t get any better. Our stay was 4 nights 5 days long. It was one of the most peaceful holidays I’d ever been to. The villa was absolutely stunning! We had a mini private pool, an open roof jacuzzi in the bathroom and the open ocean in front of the villa! Whenever we wanted we could take a dip in the sea and go snorkeling. Our villa was the last one on the stretch which meant a lot of walking to get from the villa to the land and back. So at times, we would use the buggies or the golf cart that the driver would get.

I wanted it to be a very relaxing trip hence, we spent most of our time in the sea and the pool. Mostly chilling. On the 3rd day, we indulged in some water sports. Rohan gave “Fly boarding” a shot and thoroughly enjoyed! Every day at 5:30 at the resort they would feed baby sharks and fishes. It was fun to see baby sharks so up close.

The food at the resort we were staying was absolutely amazing! They did not have a buffet system but an à la carte system which was amazing. All 3 meals of the day were inclusive in our package. Except for a Japanese restaurant that they had in the resort. I am an absolute sucker for Sushi so I had to have at least one meal there and I did. It was delicious! Not the best sushi I’ve had but definitely YUM!

I even got sun burnt on the island! Haha! All in all, it was an amazing trip. I’m not writing much in this post cause all we did was relax and eat food. Which was perfect. Check out my Vlog on my trip here. Let me know if you enjoyed this post and the Vlog
